Meet The Team
We build on our history of innovation and growth through product development, lasting relationships and our culture of teamwork and success. Since 2004 OTech devices have checked in millions of patients across the US. The time is NOW for self-service in healthcare.
Bruce Steinhardt, CEO
Bruce founded OTech after checking in at the airport on a kiosk back in 2004 and thought… this has to be brought to the clinic setting! Luckily, he turned that idea into reality with help from his 20+ years experience as a healthcare administrator. He has his Health Care MBA and earned his Fellowship in the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE). Bruce likes road biking, golf, wine, his two granddaughters and pontooning on the lake in the summer (but, not necessarily in that order). Fun fact? His favorite lunch is the good ‘ol American classic – a cheeseburger, fries and chocolate shake.
Joe Menter, CIO
Joe is what some might call an IT savant, phoenom, whiz… whatever you decide, we’re glad he’s part of our team! He’s our co-founder, holds numerous software patents and is always digging into code. His three decades of experience in the automation software industry are asset to OTech. Joe enjoys travel, golf and collecting wine. Fun fact? Joe has his pilot’s license.
Katie Evans, VP-Operations
Katie wears many hats at OTech and oversees Finance, Marketing and Operations. She’s a St. Norbert College graduate and has her Master’s in Organizational Leadership and Communication from Gonzaga University. She loves to cook, volunteer her time to local nonprofits, and spend time with her husband and two daughters, Nina and Mae.
Jenni Poch, Sales Representative
Jenni is part of our Sales team. She is energetic and enthusiastic about helping future clients learn the value of our products. She is a Carroll College grad and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training. When not in the office or on the phone, you will find Jenni spoiling and chasing after her pride (Hayden) and joy (Andrew), coaching on the basketball court, or singing/dancing at Country music concerts.
Joel Fendrick, Lead Application Specialist
Joel is a certified CompTIA Healthcare IT Technician and a member of our Support team. He’s a University of Wisconsin – Platteville alumni who enjoys all things technology… that’s probably why you’ll always find him tinkering with his home computers and servers. Joel enjoys music, PC games with friends and playing baseball & softball whenever he gets the chance.
Jack Stern, Sales Representative
Jack is part of our Sales team and is very familiar with working in a fast paced environment. Jack is considered an adrenaline junky. Besides training for the USA fistball team, he also races a late model racecar. He claims that he “found his home” with OTech stating, “It’s so easy and fun to sell a product that is second to none!”
Joel Rodriguez, Software Developer
Joel Rodriguez is a St. Norbert College alumni (Computer Science) and member of our software development team. He is highly motivated by challenge and is always looking to learn new things. His first semester of college he was a music major, but changed majors to Computer Science by his second semester. He enjoys books, movies, music, training for kickboxing, spending time with his family, and working on small/medium size personal software projects at home.
Marc Rinzel, Equipment Tech
Marc is a full-time Firefighter/Paramedic. In between his shifts at the fire station, he works at OTech as an Equipment Tech building our products. When he is not here or at the fire station, he spends most of his time outdoors, enjoying activities such as hiking, camping and sports. In the warmer months you will find him at the lake, boating nearly every weekend with his wife Joelle and their daughter Estella.
Miranda Engert, Support Specialist
Miranda is part of our Support team. She’s a recent graduate of Drake University where she studied Computer Science and Graphic Design. She enjoys music, movies and all things creative, but spends most of her free time spoiling her two cats. Fun fact? Miranda has been to over 200 concerts!
